ALL questions will be MULTIPLE CHOICE
There are 3 ROUNDS. Round 1 will be held on Day 2 of the event (September 23, 2025) and Rounds 2 and 3 will be held on Day 3 of the event (September 24, 2025).
At the end of Round 2, the scores will be tallied and only the top ten teams will proceed to Round 3.
Each question will be read TWICE.
Each participating team will be given a set of letters labeled A, B, C, and D at the start of the event.
The participants have 15 seconds to finalize their answers. The countdown will begin after the second reading of the question.
Participants will raise the letter of their answer ONLY WHEN THE HOSTS GIVE THE GO SIGNAL.
After the answers are raised, changing is NOT allowed.
Failure to raise a letter on time will INVALIDATE their answer.
Raising a letter BEFORE the go signal will also INVALIDATE their answer.
Those with correct answers MUST KEEP THEIR ANSWERS RAISED until the hosts announce their institution’s name.
All the answers are referenced.
In case of questions or controversies, there are 3 designated arbiters who will deliberate on any of the concerns.
Participants must raise their concern/s immediately after the correct answer is revealed and before the next question is read.
Contention will no longer be allowed once the hosts announce the end of each round.
Each arbiter shall not be an incumbent training officer or head for cardiology from any representing institution.
The decision of the arbiters is final.
Contestants are NOT allowed to bring their phones, smart watches, or any electronic devices during the contest.
Coaching from the audience is NOT allowed.
